Alison- Owner of Conrad from litter C

I am the very proud owner of Conrad the Conker-er, one of Ouchmouse’s most recent litter of hoglets.

From the very first day i found out (christmas) i was going to be an owner of one of the hoglets, Becca kept me updated on my little mans progress every day, either by msg, pics or video.
Being able to see, hear and watch him develop was very special to me.
Becca was open, forthcoming and very informative with the progress of my future hoglet… eating, drinking, general physical development and even as far as his toileting habits, also his likes/dislikes at cuddle time.

As the day for me to pick Conrad up approached, i found Becca to be flexible and accommodating with her first priority being the health and welfare of Conrad.
On arrival to pick up Conrad, Beccas care and commitment to her animals was evident!!
Even though i was itching with excitement to get my hands on my baby for the first time, Becca made time to discuss Conrad – and his care pack – with us in detail, taking time to ensure i had everything i needed for Conrads journey, and that his new home was fully prepared.
Care pack was brilliant!! Conrads very own, beautiful travel bag (#travelinstylehog , wet wipes (a godsend on way home) food/treats, blanket, little wash towels, toys (lots), personalised dish and a tunnel (who provides a tunnel to someone who makes them lol). In all a comprehensive starter pack.
I already had 3 hogs so have everthing i need, only thing i would suggest being in the care packs for first time owners is maybe some small bags of oats or mini bottles of Aveno oil/coconut oil for bathing when hoglets are quilling.

On meeting Conrad for the very first time, it soon became evident to me that he was a socialised, confident, calm and healthy little man. He was immediately comfortable and content in my hands, even allowing me to stroke his ears and nose and even belly rubs!! Even my girls wont allow my to do this without a huff…
We were introduced to Conrads siblings who are of the same nature.

After coffee and cake and spending some time getting Conrad usd to us, we said an emotional “see you soon”.
A few poops and a wee on the journey home (near 4hours) but Conrad traveled extremly well!!
Arriving home we had Conrad out for a short while to ensure he was eating and drinking alright… no problems at all, just a tired little man.
His first night alone in his new viv, he settled in like he had been here all along, eating, drinking and toileting perfect (in his litter tray)!!. The way in which Conrad settled so quickly can only be the due to the time and effort that Becca spent with him in his first weeks.
From day one there was no visable signs of stress, no upset tummy or extra huffy.
Conrad remains a calm, confident and healthy little man, though he is quilling hardly huffs atal and enjoys contact and cuddles, normaly resulting in him snuggling inside my top. Conrad is no different with my hubby and people who visit us..
All in all i could not be happier with how Conrad has instantly accepted us and adapted to his new enviroment.
Becca has done an amazing job in socialising my little man and i look foward to growing with him and his antics.
I personaly in a blink of an eye would 100% recommend Becca to anyone that is looking to own an APH.
